Connect your own Gemini API key
Open Settings in the extension, paste your Gemini API key, and verify the connection. Mono stores the key locally in that Chrome profile so it survives a browser restart; the Mono subscription unlocks the software, while Gemini quota remains separate.
Know what each status means
Mono distinguishes loading, translating, saving, saved, sync errors, and retry states instead of showing false success. If a server save has not been confirmed, the browser copy remains safe and the interface asks you to retry.
